Terms of Use
Last updated: 18 October 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Egyptian Ad Archive Team ("we", "us"), the operator of Egyptian Ad Archive at egyptianadarchive.com (the "Archive"). By creating an account or using the Archive, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Archive.
Contact: [email protected]. Address: Cairo, Egypt.
1. What the Archive is
The Archive is a searchable index of Egyptian TV commercials, made for research and reference. It lists films with their brand, year, occasion, credits, scene descriptions and similar information.
- We do not host the films. Films play only through YouTube's official embedded player or Vimeo's player, or open on those sites. If a film is removed from YouTube or Vimeo, it stops playing here.
- Thumbnails are small preview images used only to help you find a film in the index.
- The films, brands, logos and music belong to their owners, such as the advertiser, agency, production house or director. Listing a film does not mean we own it, that its owner endorses the Archive, or that you may reuse it.
- Some information (scene tags, tones, years, credits) is produced by automated tools or sent in by users. We work to keep it correct, but it may contain mistakes.
2. Who can use it
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of legal consent where you live if that is higher.
- You must give a real email address and keep your sign-in details safe.
- You can sign in by email or with a Google account.
3. Plans
| Plan | What it is |
|---|---|
| Free trial | Full Pro for 3 days after sign-up, no card needed. One trial per person and per device. After the trial, searching and film details need a paid plan. |
| Pro (monthly or yearly) | Full features as listed on the pricing page. Renews automatically until you cancel. |
| First 300 | A Black Friday offer for the first 300 buyers: Pro at a special yearly price, kept for as long as the subscription stays active without a break, and a First 300 badge on the profile. |
| Team | Coming later. Separate terms will apply. |
Features, limits and prices are shown on the pricing page at the time you buy. We may change features over time. If we raise the price of your paid plan, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
4. Payments
- Card payments (US dollars) are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller (the "merchant of record"). Your purchase is also covered by their buyer terms, and they may collect sales tax or VAT where required.
- In Egypt without a card: contact us on WhatsApp at the number on our payment page. You pay by InstaPay or phone cash and send a payment proof (reference and screenshot) through our form. Your plan starts once we confirm the payment, normally the same day. These plans are paid for 1, 3 or 12 months at a time and do not renew by themselves.
- Prices include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout.
- Cancelling: you can cancel any time from your account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. It then does not renew.
- Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
5. One account, one person
A paid account is for one person only.
- You can use it on at most two devices. To add a third, remove one first. You can swap a device at most once a week.
- Only one session can be active at a time.
- Sharing your account, password or sign-in links with other people is not allowed.
To protect accounts, we watch for signs of sharing, for example sign-ins from two distant cities at the same time, many forced sign-outs, or very unusual use. Each sign adds a strike: 1. First strike: a warning by email. 2. Second strike: the account is suspended for 24 hours. 3. Third strike: the account is suspended until we review it. If we confirm the account was shared, we may close it without a refund for the current period.
If you think a strike was a mistake (for example, you were travelling), write to [email protected] and we will review it.
6. What you may do
You may use the Archive for your own research, reference, study and creative work, for example to collect references for a brief, a pitch or a treatment, and to share boards and decks with your clients and colleagues.
7. What you may not do
- Copy, download, scrape or export the Archive or large parts of it, by hand or with tools, bots or scripts.
- Rebuild, resell or publish the Archive's data (lists, credits, tags, descriptions) as your own product or database.
- Download, re-upload or re-host the films or thumbnails.
- Remove or hide the watermark on boards, PDF decks or other exports.
- Get around limits, device rules, security or paywalls.
- Use the Archive to break the law or anyone's rights, including YouTube's and Vimeo's own terms.
- Send false credits, false claims or harmful content.
Watermarks: boards, PDF decks and other exports carry a watermark with the Archive name and may carry your account details. This shows where the material came from.
8. Things you send us
You can send credits, corrections, film suggestions, feedback and similar content ("submissions").
- You confirm the information is true to the best of your knowledge.
- You allow us to use, edit, publish and keep your submissions in the Archive, for free and without time limit, so the record stays complete.
- We review submissions before they go live and may refuse or edit any of them.
- Rewards for approved credits (for example a free month of Pro) are set out on the site and may change.
9. Corrections and removal requests
If you own rights in a film, a thumbnail or information shown in the Archive, or you see a mistake, use "Suggest a correction" or "Request removal" on the film or profile page, or write to [email protected]. Please include the film link and what you would like changed. We aim to reply within 5 working days, and we remove material while we check a valid rights claim.
10. Our content
The Archive's design, code, name, logo, and its own work (the selection and arrangement of the index, written descriptions, tags and credits research) belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to them except to use the Archive as described here.
11. Availability and changes
We try to keep the Archive available and the data correct, but we do not promise it will always be available, complete or free of errors. Films may stop playing when YouTube or Vimeo removes them. We may change, pause or stop parts of the Archive. If we close the whole paid service, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
12. Limits on our responsibility
The Archive is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost business, lost work or lost profit, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be removed.
13. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your account page or by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, as described in section 5 and section 7.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or on the site at least 14 days before it applies. If you keep using the Archive after that, the new terms apply.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to solve the problem together. Disputes go to the courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
